Alice in Wonderland

Bonkers To Be Late by RosieLilyIce93 (FanFiction.Net Profile)
Alice/Tarrant
Alice is finally back from China after three years. Now she has to make the decision to either stay in London with her family and perhaps be unhappy for the rest of her life, OR to honor her promise and return to her Wonderland and a chance at happiness. Her decision will have consequences for both worlds though.
Tarrant released a deep breath and moved towards the door. Locking it, he turned and leaned against it. Alice remained where he had left her, eyeing him cautiously. Tarrant could only stare at her. The sunshine hit her in just a way that it appeared as if a crown of light shone upon her hair. Her dark eyes took on a golden glow and the soft flush in her cheeks made her look like one of the fae folk his mother had once told him stories about. Just like those mystical folk, his Alice had been surprising him and beguiling him since she was a wee lass. She was still a lass at heart, age made no difference. She was still determined to take things at a flying leap. Only this time he worried. She had leapt without looking first, taking him with her. And this time he was afraid there wouldn't be a prickle bush to land in but a very long, dark fall of the steepest of cliffs. "Alice luv, do you realize what you have done?"

Alice/Tarrant
"Little maid, pretty maid, whither goest thou?" Alice has forgotten her friends in Underland, until one day she follows the figures she sees in the looking glass.
"This is impossible," Hatter said, awestruck. "Sometimes I believe as many as six impossible things before breakfast," Alice whispered. He quirked a brow at her. "An excellent practice, but just at the moment, you should focus on the kissing."

One Promise Kept: Book 1 by Manniness (LiveJournal)
Alice/Tarrant
Alice makes a promise that is kept, but at a great cost. Surviving the consequences should have taught her to be more careful with future promises, but how can she refuse the queen her Champion? Or Tarrant Hightopp his Alice?
Alice grasps Tarrant's left hand in hers and Mirana thinks she hears Alice whisper, "Why is a raven like a writing desk?" But no, Alice couldn't have said that, Mirana decides, turning away with a shake of her head. There's no reason at all for Tarrant's face to light up or his eyes to sparkle with delight or his lips to stretch into a wide grin at such a very odd phrase. Why, the man looks as if Alice has just professed her undying love.
